There is one remaining piece by Banksy in Melbourne.
In the mid-2000s, Banksy visited Melbourne and left several stencils through the city’s laneways. Since then, his fame has skyrocketed, and his pieces have sold for millions of dollars.
Unfortunately, all of them have been destroyed – either on purpose or accidentally – except for one.
It is a stencil of a rat falling with a parachute. There are two instances, and you can find them in the doorway down Duckboard Place.
This door is the back of cocktail bar Eau De Vie, so don’t be suprised if there are staff members there enjoying a break.
Head down Duckboard Place, off Flinder’s Lane, and you’ll find the the doorway in the corner.
